TAMS Announces Leadership Transition and Welcomes New Board Members
Montclair, NJ – The Travel and Meeting Society (TAMS) is excited to announce a leadership transition as we bid farewell to outgoing Chair Michelle Grant and Director Mary Ellen Hess.
Stepping into the role of Chair, TAMS welcomes Kerin McKinnon, Sr. Vice President Global and Strategic Partnerships at Atlas Travel, a current board member. Additionally, TAMS is pleased to welcome three newly appointed board members: Mary-Jo Lake, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Meetings & Events at blueprint worldwide; Ted Cullen, Global Travel Manager at Bio-Rad Laboratories; and Lyndsey Pomella, Client Solutions Manager at Fox World Travel.
Michelle Grant has served as Chair with dedication, helping to shape TAMS’ mission and fostering a strong, engaged community within the travel and meetings industry. Reflecting on her tenure, she shared:
"It has been an incredible honor to serve as Chair of TAMS. I am grateful for the passion and commitment of our board, members, and partners in driving meaningful conversations and connections in our industry. As I step down, I am excited for the future of TAMS under Kerin McKinnon’s leadership, knowing that her vision and experience will continue to propel our mission forward."
Incoming Chair Kerin McKinnon brings a wealth of experience to the role and is eager to continue building upon the foundation laid by past leadership. She expressed her enthusiasm for the future of TAMS, stating:
"I am honored to step into the role of Chair and continue the great work that Michelle and the board have done. TAMS is a vital platform for collaboration and innovation in our industry, and I look forward to working alongside our new and returning board members to drive growth, engagement, and meaningful impact for our community."
