TAMS Announces Newly Elected Board Members

ATLANTA (February 6, 2024) – TAMS is pleased to announce the results of its 2024 board election, where nine outstanding individuals have been elected to serve on the organization's board of directors. These visionary travel leaders were elected by the TAMS membership and will play a vital role in guiding the organization towards its mission to forge a united community where every voice is not only heard but counts in shaping our industry’s future.

The newly elected board members are:

  • Michelle Grant, Chairperson, Travel Administration Manager, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers

  • Anne Blyth, Vice Chairperson, Owner, Anne Blyth Marketing

  • Cheryl Benjamin, Board Member, Travel and Expense Manager, Gordon Food Service

  • Mary Ellen Hess, Board Member, Executive Vice President, Corporate Travel Management

  • Susan Lichtenstein, Board Member, Vice President of Sales, HQ Travel Solutions

  • Kerin McKinnon, Board Member, Vice President Business Development, Atlas Travel

  • Michael Premo, Board Member, President and CEO (retired), Airlines Reporting Corporation

  • Phyllis Tess, Board Member, Senior Global Account Manager, BWH Hotel Group

  • Mark Ziegler, Board Member, Senior Travel Manager, NetApp
     

"We are excited to welcome these talented individuals to our board of directors,” said Michelle Grant, the new chairperson. “Each one brings a unique set of skills, experiences and perspectives that will contribute to the continued success and growth of TAMS."

The TAMS board election took place online from January 25-31, 2024, where members had the opportunity to cast their votes for the candidates they believed would best represent the organization’s values and objectives.

“I want to express my gratitude to all the candidates who participated in the election and to our members for their active engagement in the democratic process,” said Mark Williams, TAMS Executive Director. “We are confident that our newly elected board members will play a crucial role in steering TAMS towards a future of continued success and positive impact."
